Working with another artist is similar to a musical collaboration. The reward of a successful collaboration is a thing that cannot be produced by either of the artists working alone.
Trisha Brookbank and Brian Burkhardt are talented sculptors who joined their ideas and skills to create the Triian line of jewelry. They hand-fabricate, sand, polish and adorn their one-of-a-kind stone creations with Swarovski crystals. Constructed solely from synthetic and reclaimed materials, these Modern Era Gems are genuinely authentic yet extremely lightweight. Triian offers something special, using their shared vision to synthesize nature through their own brand of gemological research.
At the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, their jewelry stole the show at the V Del Sol event. Viewers were so blown away by the Triian Burbank baubles that they were deemed “out of this world, chunky, fun, edgy, cool, sophisticated, surprisingly lightweight, and wearable.”
